Franklin's Vinegar Sauce

This is a light vinegar BBQ sauce from the world famous Franklin's BBQ in Austin, Texas.  This sauce goes perfect with Pork or Brisket.

Franklin's Vinegar Sauce


For 4 people ()

  • 1 cup(s) White Vinegar
  • 1 cup(s) Cider Vinegar
  • 1 cup(s) Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Brown Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Hot Sauce
  • 1 dash(es) Worcesteshire Sauce
  • 2 teaspoon(s) Paprika
  • 1 part(s) Salt


Combine all of the ingredients in a saucepan and warm on medium heat, stirring often.  Do not bring to a boil, just medium heat for 10 minutes.  Salt & pepper to taste.

Serve or store in a sealed container (it will last up to 1 month in the refrigerator).
