This hamburger recipe is simple, yet unique. By chopping up some vegetables and the right seasoning, these burgers will turn out juicy and packed with flavor.

Yields1 Serving
Prep Time12 minsCook Time15 minsTotal Time27 mins
Ground Beef (80/20)As a rule, one pound of beef typically makes 3 burgers
 Jane's Krazy Mixed up Salt
 Chopped White Onion
 Chopped Fresh Garlic
 Chopped Jalapeno
 1 Egg
1 1/2 Packet Lipton Onion Soup (dry packet)
Hamburger BunsWe recommend going to the bakery at your local grocery store and asking them for fresh buns
1

In a large bowl, add your beef and mix in all of the ingredients well.

Depending on how much beef you have will dictate the amount of vegetables to finely chop and put it. The consistency should be 80 percent beef and 20 percent ingedients.

2

After the ingredients are mixed well, place in the refrigerator (at least 30 minutes) while the grill gets ready.

3

Craft the round burger patties with your hand to your desired size (as you will see, that egg smooths out the texture and acts as a good adhesive for the veggies to the meat).

Flatten the patty out by slapping it in your hand and rotating. You don't want to leave the patty too thick.

4

Heat your grill to 350 degrees.

5

Place the burgers evenly on the grill.

Grill each side for 5 minutes. Test to your desired liking (medium rare, medium, well done).

6

If you prefer cheese, add the cheese of your choice (we prefer a combination of Colby and Monterey Jack Cheese).

After the cheese is added, close the lid for 1 - 2 minutes until the cheese is melted.

7

Butter both sides of the bun. You can heat the oven to 325 and bake them a couple of minutes or put them face down on the grill.

8

Construct the burger with your favorite garnishes and serve!
